Guillaume Bonn was born in Madagascar and has covered the African continent for the last decade, travelling everywhere from war-torn Congo to Mogadishu.
He is the author of 3 photographic books, including his first monograph "Le mal d'Afrique, a journey into old and new Africa" and " Peter Beard,scrapbooks from Africa & beyond" based on his film on the American artist.
He is a regular contributor to Vanity Fair and The New York Times magazines.
He received a PDN photography Annual Award in 2007 from the influential american magazine Photo district News.
He has directed four film documentaries, worked as a cameraman on "Dying to tell the story", a 90 minutes documentary which was nominated for an emmy award.
Some of his pictures can be seen in the book "Shame of War" published by IRIN, the news body of the United Nations.
