Third generation of a French Family born in Madagascar in 1970, he studied Politics and Economics in Montreal University and graduated from the International Centre of Photography(ICP)in documentary and photojournalism.
Lived and grew up in Tananarive, Djibouti, Sanaa, Nairobi, Kathmandu, Saigon and
Geneva.
He has covered the African continent for the last 15 years, traveling everywhere from War torn Congo to Mogadishu including stories in Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, France, Albania and the USA.
He is the author of 3 photographic books, including his first monograph Le Mal d'Afrique, a journey into old and new Africa".
He has directed four film documentaries, worked as a cameraman on "Dying to tell the story", a 90 minutes documentary which was nominated for an Emmy award.
He is represented since 2010 by Chambre avec Vues gallery in Paris and Candela & Decker gallery since 2009 in New York.
He is a regular contributor to Vanity Fair and UNICEF.
He received a PDN photography Annual Award from the influential american magazine Photo district News.
Some of his pictures can be seen in the book "Shame of War" published by IRIN, the news body of the United Nations.
