Ambroise Tezenas was born in Paris in 1972. After graduating from the Applied Arts School of Vevey in Switzerland, he settled in London. He is now based in Paris. He has an ongoing personal landscapes project which has included monitoring the changing landscape of Beijing, China. His work has appeared in publications like Geo, Liberation, VSD, Time magazine, Der Spiegel,The Times, Newsweek, WAD, The Independent magazine, The New York Times Magazine.


In 2006 he received the Leica European Publishers Award for Photography.
